Unibet UK Poker Tour Manchester - Day 2 - Level 21 (10000/20000/3000)

by MARTIN J SMITH on 11th December 2016 @ 20:28

21:06: Break time! Back with chip counts soon. Promise.

21:05: In the last hand before the break we lose Tedi Todorov. He had the low end of a Straight vs Terry Etim's top end.

21:04: Double up for Jonathan Hughes with 33 vs AK. Looks like he's on about 350k now.

21:03: 20 min break in 2 mins.

21:02: Reminder of the payouts remaining:

1st £10,000
2nd £7,000
3rd £5,000
4th £4,000
5th £3,000
6th £2,100
7th £1,800
8th £1,500
9th £1,300
10th £1,100
11th £900

21:01: Kieran Price out in 12th for £900. He was all in pre-flop with KQ vs Miguel Gaspar's 9s and couldn't get there.

20:57: Denis' elimination means that Jonathan Hughes has won the Unibet Qualifier Last Longer competition so he will take home the €2k Unibet Open package. Pretty good considering he's probably the shortest stack in the room!

20:56: We are down to 12 now, 2 tables of 6. Next break in 9 mins then I'll get the full chip counts from everyone.

Table 1
Terry Etim
Awat Salehi
Tedi Todorov
Vamshi Vandanapu
Chun-Hao Man
Jonathan Hughes

Table 2
Ish Patel
Kieran Price
Michael Crook
Daniel Murray
Mark Whitney
Miguel Gaspar

20:55: Tedi Todorov

20:54: Denis Malik out in 13th place for £700.

20:52: Ish Patel. Plenty chips. Greys are 25k, Yellows 5k and Blues 1k.

20:50: Jonathan Hughes

20:45: Vamshi Vandanapu opens for 55k, Terry Etim shoves all in for over 400k. Vamshi says that it was quite a big shove. Terry says "It's only 20 bigs".

20:44: Another break in 20 mins. I'll get chip counts for all players then.

20:36: Junyu Cai out in 14th for £700. Vamshi Vandanapu takes his chips.

20:31: Carnage on Table 2 with Scott Holmes all in with KK vs Ish Patel's JJ and Miguel Gaspar's AhJh. The Jacks come out ahead and Scott is eliminated in 15th place for £700. Miguel's stack takes a hit but he's still got plenty.

20:28: Still 15 left. I checked Miguel Gaspar's stack and it's now 1,080,000. That's a lot with only 5.3 million in play in total.
